About the Artist

Tamara Schweigert, a Montana native and self-taught artist has a special connection with an appreciation for nature, the human figure, and animals. This affinity for nature is clearly shown in the warmth and authority unique
in her sculptures.

Pencil drawings of animals and scenes since 1993 paved the way for Tamara's discovery that she had a natural talent for sculpting. Since then her award-winning sculptures have earned the respect of many collectors, organizations and fellow artists in the United States and Canada.

Tamara resides just minutes from the beautiful Coeur d’Alene Resort in northern Idaho with her family and pets. Her studio workshop nestled in the mountains provides the peaceful tranquil of the great outdoors.
